Goat Families

Okay, so I finally have enough brain cells stored up to make sense of our herd. Here's a quick listing of all of our mommas and babies and daddies and stuff. Also, another boer buck named Smiley will be mentioned at some points, and unfortunately, the great Smiley is now deceased.

Smiley + Kira (deceased) = Delilah (now 2 yrs old and a momma herself)

Smiley + Sally = Abrialla (Abby) (now 2 yrs old as well and a momma)

Smiley + Dax = Nougat/Fudgie (now both a year and a half and mommas in training)

Smiley + Stella (deceased) = Valentine (born on Feb. 14 and now sold)

Excelsior + Janie = Boy (deceased)

Now here are the babies that were more recently born. "Recently" as in late Dec. to early Jan.

Excelsior + Thelma = Alice/Twilight

Excelsior + Delilah = Bellatrix (Bella)

Excelsior + Stella (deceased) = Maximillian (Max)/Nessie (Nessie was unfortunately rejected by her mother but was taken in by the angel of a goat momma Dax. THANK GOD!!!!)

Excelsior + Dax = Payton/Harley (plus Nessie as the weeks went on)

Excelsior + Frankie = Jasper/Cursio (sold)

Excelsior + Kira (deceased) = Esme/Cullen (sold)

Excelsior + Abby = Darby

Excelsior + Sally = Addison/Astrid

All of our does have been put in with Excelsior for a breeding session and will be due around late Nov. to early/mid Dec. We are hoping for all girls becasue we already have names picked out! (We are being "forced" to sell all boys this time. Bummer.)
